We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer (ruby)

Our partner is an innovative digital platform aimed at facilitating the connection between users with specific interests in the real estate sector. The platform is designed to streamline the process of searching and offering residential spaces, promoting an efficient experience tailored to the individual needs of users.

Role

You will play a key role in the design, development, and deployment of our app. Leveraging your expertise in software engineering principles and best practices, you will also contribute to the overall architecture and technical direction of the application. We’re a small but growing team working on an exciting product and tech roadmap. You will have a great impact from day 1.

What will be part of your mission?

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code across the full stack of the application.
• Lead technical discussions and provide guidance on best practices in backend (ruby). Front-end is a plus. 
• Implement efficient processes to streamline feature development and deployment.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges and roadblocks.
• Helping with testing processes, unit testing, building CI/CD pipelines and release engineering.
• Collaborate with our product manager to define requirements and timelines.
• Take the lead in software maintenance tasks, including bug fixing, performance optimization, and code refactoring, to ensure software quality and improve system stability.

What do we need:

• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails
• JavaScript with React is a plus
• Highly skilled in writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Obsession for quality and testing.
• Excel in problem-solving and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• English proficiency
